Rickie Fowler

Tiger Woods is regaining his strength day after day, going by his recent revelations.

The golf veteran does not know when he would return to the game professionally yet but he admits he has been working with some PGA Tour stars.

For now Woods’ practices regimen is limited to 60 yards but he has been having fun putting against Rickie Fowler and Justin Thomas at his backyard. He says he is chipping and putting almost every day as he works out profusely.

Woods underwent a back fusion surgery in April, so as he recovers he avoids full swings based on doctor recommendation. He is set to undergo an important X-ray test to see the progress on his back since the surgery. This test would decide the next steps as he insists on playing on professionally.

Woods, on his blog, wrote that he was happy to celebrate the PGA Championship victory of Justin Thomas alongside Fowler. He would be the assistant captain to his friend Steve Stricker at the forthcoming Presidents Cup in New York.

The star golfer pled not guilty last month to driving under the influence. A toxicology report showed he has different drugs in his system. He says he is pain free now and he sleeps better.Woods is expected to enter a program for first time offenders. It is another low for the struggling legend and he acknowledged this when he specially thanked his sponsors for remaining steadfast in their support.

There were reports that a DC Area PGA Tour event which would benefit Tiger Woods Foundation might not hold due to lack of a title sponsor. It seems Woods has been able to sort that out or at least close to doing so, else his woes continue.
