Fowler looking forward to Thailand trip

American golfing duo and two of the most exciting characters on the US PGA Tour Hunter Mahan and Rickie Fowler have confirmed their participation in the 2013 Thailand Golf Championship which has been scheduled to take part at the end of the year between the 12th and 15th of December.

While Mahan has had one of the best seasons of his career in 2013 and is looking forward with a lot of eagerness at the event, the same cannot be said about the 24 year old Fowler, who has managed to win just a single title on the US PGA Tour this season and will be looking to finish the season on a high with a win in the event.

The world number 33 is considered to be one of the most eccentric and flamboyant characters on the Tour and when he turned professional after having a stellar amateur career, a lot was expected from him but he hasn’t lived up to that hype. Rickie Fowler has managed to win just two events on the PGA Tour in his four years as a professional, the last of which came at the Wells Fargo Championship in 2012 when he managed to pip Rory McIlroy to the title.

He has a very colorful dressing sense as well as a very aggressive approach to the game and he is a huge favorite among the crowd and is already looking forward to making his first visit to the Thai shores at the end of the season.

Rickie Fowler stated that he is eagerly awaiting the event which will mark his first visit to Thailand and he admitted that players who have travelled their before like Bubba Watson and Hunter Mahan have told him about the place and that has got him excited a lot more.
